This group art show will feature artwork inspired by the unique and wacky styles of the 1980′s.
The show starts at 8pm, and will be joined by the musical stylin’s of Red Soda at 9pm!
All art will be available for purchase by silent auction!

Good news everybody tomorrow you can relax, hang out with friends at Redlight, and start getting your holiday shopping done early -all while enjoying some of the best beers in town! Because tomorrow is “Small Business Saturday” and at Redlight Redlight we are having a special local art show to help you find unique gifts as well as supporting local business, and local arts.
Avoid the malls, avoid the shopping chaos, and add more enjoyment to the holiday season! Grab a beer and give the gift of art!

Make it a full day of local business appreciation and visit some or all of our unique local businesses such as; lunch and coffee at Stardust Coffee, gift ideas at Dear Prudence, Covert Skate shop, Etoile Boutique, go get Tattooed at Primrose Tattoo, or the newly opened Rise Above Tattoo, or get creative and take your pick of the great variety of businesses in town. Just be sure to finish the night off at Redlight and dinner at Big Bruno’s Bites!

SAMAIN – A Halloween art gathering

The celebration of what is now commonly known as Halloween has gone through various transformations since it’s origins. Though, after the many years and Octobers passed, some things have stayed consistent. We observe the end of Summer and the start of a new season, as well as the transition from light days to dark (though maybe not so much in Florida). We enjoy gathering with friends, partaking in food, fun, festivities, pranks and libations, and scaring the crap out of each other.
Oct 31st we celebrate our traditional Halloween, but on Oct 22nd we ask that you join us in the celebration of “Samain”: a Gaelic word that represents the celebration’s origins and it’s consistencies throughout the ages and, on this special night, a spirit filled art show lit by the warm glow of Redlight Redlight.

This art show is a representation of how the artists view this holiday, not necessarily in just a contemporary aspect, but in all it’s incarnations of the past, present, and what lurks only in the dark depths of the imagination.

Sweet is the theme at Redlight Redlight for August 27 2011!

This Redlight art show will be collaborating with The Bee’s Knees Sweet Treats! To bring you not only the sweetest art in town, but also the sweet’n tasty delights of DANSK Farms – Local Florida Honey, The Bee’s Knees own mini cupcakes, cookies, truffles…, the expansive beer selection of Redlight – including a sweet assortment of cider, wine, and mead, Big Bruno’s Bites and maybe a few more sweet surprises!
….Sweet additions: We all Scream! Dairy-Free Ice cream cart! will be joining us, as well as a vendor for “Miracle Fruit” which when eaten causes savory or sour foods/drinks to appear sweet! Try it with your beer and see how it magically becomes sweet!

Come out Saturday and enjoy the art that reflects our ideas of what the 20’s and 30’s means to us, listen to some swingin’ tunes, watch films without audible dialogue and drink up to celebrate the end of prohibition!
